Sinéad Mulligan
Tax Manager
Sinéad joined Trident Tax in 2011 as a Tax Consultant and is currently studying for her Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) certification. She previously earned her ATT qualification and holds a degree in Forensic Science.
During her time at Trident, Sinéad has advised on tax projects involving the Transfer of Assets Abroad regime, non-resident trusts, mixed fund issues for non-domiciled individuals, and the Statutory Residence Test.
She has extensive experience in tax investigations, including voluntary disclosures, Code of Practice 9 cases, and defending HMRC enquiries across multiple departments. Additionally, she has negotiated settlements with HMRC on EFRBS and EBTs and participated in a key tribunal case on interest and withholding tax.
