Alan began his career at HMRC where he undertook full professional training and examinations to qualify as a senior Inspector of Taxes and became a specialist investigator.
Alan joined KPMG in 2001, spending 8 years there before leaving to form Trident Tax in 2009.
Alan specialises in providing tax advice to high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and their associated entities. Alan’s work often includes M&A tax work, inheritance tax aspects of succession planning and wealth preservation and matters of tax residence and domicile. He has also undertaken a variety of tax resolution dispute work for individuals, companies and trusts.
