Lu, a Chartered Tax Adviser, began her tax career at EY, where she obtained her professional qualifications. She then gained further experience at RSM, advising high-net-worth individuals on complex personal and business tax matters, before returning to EY, where she focused on private client and international tax advisory work.
Lu specialises in advising high-net-worth individuals—many of whom are internationally mobile—along with their businesses. Her expertise spans a wide range of tax matters, including residence, domicile, offshore structures, securities taxation, inheritance and estate planning, and the associated structuring and tax planning strategies.
In recent years, Lu has also worked closely with founders and owner-managers in the alternative investment funds sector, advising on the tax implications of both their personal affairs and business structures, as well as ongoing tax considerations.
Lu is fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to support a diverse international client base.
