Scott Homewood

Scott’s core expertise lies in international private client taxation and wealth structuring, with a career that blends deep technical knowledge and commercial insight. He began his career in 2002 at a Cambridge-based tax practice, before going on to develop his skills at Coutts & Co., Ernst & Young, and Deloitte.

In 2014, Scott joined Bank Julius Baer as the lead UK Wealth Planner, later becoming Head of the UK International Private Banking Team in Zurich. During his time in banking, he was instrumental in developing cross-border frameworks, strategic partnerships, and distribution strategies tailored to the UK market. His experience in private banking and asset management enables us to bridge the technical and commercial perspectives—helping clients and their advisers better align investment strategy with tax and structuring considerations.

Scott also brings meaningful experience in family office advisory, supporting families in developing their governance, legacy planning, and institutional approach to wealth. This adds an extra dimension to our work—particularly in helping clients gain clarity over their banking affairs, investment platforms, and long-term family strategies.

As Tax & Commercial Director at Trident Tax, Scott leads on complex private client and commercial matters, creating tailored, forward-looking solutions that reflect both the technical demands and human dynamics of wealth management.
