Alan Kennedy – Managing Director
Alan began his career at HMRC where he undertook full professional training and examinations to qualify as a senior Inspector of Taxes and became an investigator. Alan joined KPMG in 2001, spending 8 years there before leaving to form the business in 2009.
Alan and the rest of the team have undertaken a wide variety of tax advisory and tax dispute resolution work for individuals, companies and trusts. Alan frequently advises on the offshore tax regime for companies, trusts and individuals, tax residence and domicile issues, HMRC investigations under Codes of Practice 8 and 9 and voluntary tax disclosures. He also advises on restructuring businesses for growth and development in the UK and overseas, inheritance tax aspects of succession planning and wealth preservation, employee benefit trusts, employer-financed retirement benefit schemes and all types of contentious tax disputes.
